..........Hi all,
so I had put computer bits into everyones Amazon wish list and have just had the guys build it for me * smile *

8GB RAM, Quad core AMD phenom processor, new motherboard with HDMI and 4 USB 3.00 connections, Pioneer BluRay Drive, Thermaltake 500w power supply ... TBH, my old one was plenty quick for most things except that I rip, burn, make, edit alot of DVD's (and now Blu-rays) and it took about 45mins to render a 60min DVD + I could not nothing with the computer while it did this............so now should be faster and I should be able to surf etc when this is being done.........

EDIT + I am just getting used to the nuances of Win7 64bit ........I loved my WIN XP SP3

Regards David

Hi Bill,

Just quickly, and its a tiny point but, when qualifying a bunch of surveys is it possible that when you have chosen reasonable/nitpick etc and then click "submit" that it automatically jumps to the next available survey for qualifying?

I seemed to remember it did this before? Like i say its not the end of the world as , I can just click manually to the next survey...............

Regards David

Let us look at this from a jamaican grammar point of view (spelt phonetically), * smile *

"mi feeget mi money"

"Den yuh going haf fi get a boroughs:

so even in jamaican the word "then" (den) seems appropriate

You all making me feel old................

I remember getting a color TV when i was about 13?...so 32 yrs ago back then alot of people rented TV's in the UK, it was a good deal as it was pittance money and if it broke down they would send a repairman around for free , with the technology improvement and throwing away of stuff, that business died in the UK.

I remember my friend at about the same time had a VCR, big clunky thing cost a fortune i was totally amazed!!! and he had a microwave too!!!!! .......and video renting!!! and that was back when you had to give them like 25 pound deposit to rent movies*sigh*

Thats different?............ why would you allow a male you barely know to crash with you? that just invites trouble? especially as you haven't slept with him?
(I am guessing if you had sex with him, he wouldn't be sleeping on the couch)

Though a consideration, his age should not be the overriding factor, sorry....... do you enjoy his company?, are you on equal terms maturity wise?, Are you both "equal" meaning is he a mentor/teacher someone in authority and is that how you met him? would you be comfortable going out and being seen in public places or would u be uncomfortable? would you gladly let him meet your peers/friends I ask the last two as often in situations like this its just a sex thing and you only go to his house type thing.

at the end of the day your old enough to decide

I think the situation has alot to do with it,.......... from a guys perspective it wouldn't make a difference to me, but more stuff like what is she like as a person?, how the date went?, would I want to see her again?, how is her smile? is she a good kisser? is she classy? how did the conversation go?, did we have alot of mutual interests?

personally... I fell in love with my wife the 1st date......I am not a person who can "grow" to love someone, its either happening almost right away or not at all

Sighing inwardly, looking across at him as she had done many times in the past in many similar situations she thought to herself "You have absolutely no fudging idea with what your dealing with".

I dont know its different for all...........My father hit me maybe half a dozen times in my life and it didn't affect me, I do not like "spanking" my child, but have slapped him on his thigh...does that make me a bad father?

but I also hate the way society, like the US, coddles children and lacks discipline.....when children can sue parents and ANY threat of discipline from teachers/elders etc can be met with some kind of legal avenue by children just seems plain stupid at times, I also agree whole heartedly with EOC,..... some children are just plain bad and are wired wrong.

Let us not forget that we are comparing apples and oranges this guy picks up a belt and proceeds to beat the crap out of his 16yr old.....I like his comment after, "its not as bad as it looks?"

and if people cannot make the distinction that one slap on the back of a leg is completely different from the video, *shrugs*

Oh and They, I felt like crap too.........................

In an ideal world, I wouldn't either.......... but the reality is that society raises its eyebrows a little more when the women is the older one- just how it is, I could be wrong, but a man looking at a 19yr old, would say , "Dam she is hot" or "whoa she is pretty" with the follow-up thoughts being obvious, a women might say "He's a good looking kid" and mean nothing more than just that...........of course I could be talking crap and women just hide it better?
