When she notices it just state that until she has a clendar made with her images adorning the months, you will continue to post calenders of your choosing. After all, the cab needs some decoration, you are heterosexual in nature and the calendar serves a practical purpose. Tell her you would prefer to put up a calendar of her, the woman you love. Then show her the ads and bookmarked webpages of studios that would professionally take pictures of her to make a private calendar. If she appears reluctant then buy her the software so she can make and print up a calendar of herself for you and tell her that you would love it as a present. Try this route. It worked for us and added some spice.

Author Message docgbrown #5 posted October 24, 2005 at 7:10am (EST) edited October 24, 2005 at 7:15am (EST)   I am the third of eight children and my late mother had always said that it got easier after the fifth. As the older ones would take care of the younger ones and the middle ones would play together. It was not fun growing up with used clothes and little privacy. I believe it did make barrack life, in boot camp, more tolerable then most of my peers. Since I was a young teenager I have known that I was probably better at taking care of infants and children then most women will ever be. My years of taking care of younger siblings and babysitting problem children (that no female would baby-sit twice) prepared me well for my own kids. Starting with my siblings to a family with five boys to infant twins and now with my own two children, I have a lot of childcare experience for a male and I believe it shows. Many times I have been handed a baby, while in church, when the parents (usually the wife) needs a break from their unhappy baby. I don’t mind. I am both flattered and happy to help. I feel a little bad for my wife though since both of our children prefer Daddy (me). Even my (neighboring) youngest brother's kids prefer me over both of their parents. I don't think a lot of people fully get kids. Kids do need lots of love. Kids also need understanding (I discovered my baby brother’s kids thought that “lie” meant time-out or spanking), to be understood (there is often a frustrated reason when they act out), consistent boundaries, fair, measured and appropriate discipline (including self discipline), attentive interaction and variety in their play and lets not forget creative fun. I don’t understand my fellow men that dread coming home so much so that they go to pubs or hang out with friends. I can’t wait until I get home to my kids. I often feel guilty being away from them when I am simply at work. I love being a good Dad and I hope you find joy in raising your children too. Next page (only 10 shown here)
