Since so much of the information is misquoted, I'd be worried that it would give women a false sense of security. If a woman with short hair read this and took it as gospel, she might think she has less of a chance being raped. I also find it hard to believe that rapists target people they know. They may stalk a potential victim, but it would be foolhardy for them to rape a friend, neighbor or co-worker, etc.

Likely to make Falwell's (and Robertson's too) head explode: Even anal sex is OK if (and Beam believes this is a big if) it does no harm to the body.

When I signed up with Sprint, I had the options of having text messaging and an internet connection. I chose not to have either of these options. Neither my friends or I are into texting and I don't see any reason why I need an internet connection on my cell phone. I have a perfectly good broadband connection at home and can go online at work too.

Still, it would be interesting to hear Falwell's take on his preaching.

Sorry, I guess I skimmed through it too quickly. Let me go back and read it thoroughly. I did notice that it said he rubbed elbows with Jerry Falwell. Makes me wonder what Falwell thinks of his ideas.

We need more preachers like this, but I'd like to hear him tell this to people in the Bible Belt. They would probably run him out of town.

If you're getting an allowance, then you'd be using their money to pay for texting. Maybe that's why they are being so stubborn.

I have a cell phone myself, but opted out of text messaging and internet access. I didn't think they were necessary for me to have. Maybe your parents feel the same way.
