Question: Do you think the concept from the book (and movie) "The Secret" actually works?
Explanation: For those who are unfamiliar with "The Secret," it is the idea that because of our connection with a “universal energy force,” our thoughts and feelings have the ability to manipulate this energy force to our liking. According to “The Secret,” our thoughts and feelings attract a corresponding energy to ourselves. If our thoughts are negative, we attract negative things. If our feelings are positive, we attract positive things.

I understood that one, mostly. But, some of their notation is obscure (I'd have to look it up to tell you exactly what it means). It's part of a CSS (style sheet) for a web page. If you "view source" on a Survey Central page, you case see similar things... e.g.
div.messages { background-color: #66CCCC; border-color: #330066; }
table.navbar td { background-color: #99CCCC; border-color: #330066; }
table.navbar a:hover, table.navbar td.hilite { background-color: #CCFFCC; }
div.main { background-color: #66CCCC; border-color: #330066; }

I'm not sure. I've heard of kerning which is related to spacing of font characters. Also, there's a concept of kernel in programming operating systems (it's the core code that runs everything, basically). But, I don't think kernel programmers ever say "kern". So, it's probably the font thing. Some of the other shirts seemed to have a graphic design bias (which isn't the same kind of geek that I am).
I also didn't know what the: "I *symbol* Z" one (maybe that's a Mac thing).
...and the W3C one seemed to be joking about the t-shirt being sweaty, but I don't know why. | bill

You know me too well.
Honestly, I didn't even understand a couple of those... but, some made me laugh uncontrollably too.
