Piccadilly Gardens was blocked off, so dont think the met will have been running today...I feel guilty on my housemate too for leaving her by herself today. I remember what it was like when all those Rangers fans were here - that was so scary. There are definite downsides to living in the city centre! | autumnlight

This is literally right on my doorstep. Thankfully I missed it as I went out of town for the day, but my housemate was so scared, she was in tears :( There's still tons of police and news crews around. |

I completely agree. Three members of my family have been 'diagnosed' with swine flu over the phone, though they were better and back to work within 4 days. They clearly just had a cold. Also, if these diagnosis figures are what the country's statistics are based on, that means we will never know accurately how the flu is spreading or how many people actually have it. |

Apparently he's married with a baby now. He still looks about 12 himself. It's odd. |
