Piccadilly Gardens was blocked off, so dont think the met will have been running today...I feel guilty on my housemate too for leaving her by herself today. I remember what it was like when all those Rangers fans were here - that was so scary. There are definite downsides to living in the city centre!

This is literally right on my doorstep. Thankfully I missed it as I went out of town for the day, but my housemate was so scared, she was in tears :( There's still tons of police and news crews around.

I completely agree. Three members of my family have been 'diagnosed' with swine flu over the phone, though they were better and back to work within 4 days. They clearly just had a cold. Also, if these diagnosis figures are what the country's statistics are based on, that means we will never know accurately how the flu is spreading or how many people actually have it.

Apparently he's married with a baby now. He still looks about 12 himself. It's odd.
