Hey, everyone! Good to see so many of the people I knew and enjoyed are still hanging with each other here at ol' SC! I think it was 2007 since I last visited.
I'm headed to my high school reunion (25th!) next week. Never been to a HS reunion before, feel like it might be a little strange. I grew up in such a small town in Texas (18,000) that they're holding the event in a nearby city (Lubbock) and they're putting ALL the people who graduated in the 80's together! Pretty cool idea, I think.
I've broken the ice with a few friends on facebook and spoke to a couple over the phone through that connecton. Still, feels like it will be a little awkward seeing everyone all at once after 25 years. Any advice? |

This is the only subject I visited in Forum just now, and now I'll turn away from the rest, as usual. (I rarely even visit SC anymore, really.)
This thread cracks me up - it's the exact reason I don't open my mouth around here anymore. "Forgiveness Thread Gone Bad at SC" - HAHAHAHAHA! You're a whacky bunch to say the least. |

How's it hangin' gang? Hope all is well with everyone! Same ol' SC a-pumpin', I see! Glad to see you die-hards are still populating the SC community. I'm venturing around a bit. It's funny how this place sticks to you. In the time I've been gone, I have caught myself reminiscing of conversations we've had on this board.

Got it. Well, this topic was the one on top when I popped into the Forum yesterday, and yours was the most recent comment. (Plus, I knew Kate for years on this site and I was curious why she needed "another chance", to be honest.)
In any case - good enough, Bill. This particular situation has been the foremost crazy issue since I first became a part of SC. It's seemingly never-ending - this apparent tendancy people have to impersonate ficticious characters - and...still...it's just as oddly funny now as it was day one.

And I'm not going to ask what was so "jarring" about my post, asking people to shrug off whatever Kate did. Sorry if supporting your cause to bring her back didn't strike you the way it was intended - that is to promote a "whatever" attitude about it. Experience dictates that I'd probably do well to just stay out of the mess... |
