I don't know either. lol I find that a girl's politeness and social grace can be misleading to me, ergo leading to embarrassment by following up on false signals/signs. Sometimes, I just feel the need to dispense of the pleasantries and just ask the question. Although, in hindsight, I believe their kindness would provide a statement of fallacy.

Quite simply, some people require transportation for many factors which don't require any justification. In many instances, public transportation is not an option. Yes, higher gas prices lead to less driving... Only it would seem, for the lower classes. Therefore, higher gas prices lead to personal cut backs and who does this hurt? [insert various examples here]
