It's probaly too soon for feedback to be useful- if so, you can just ignor this. In case it is useful, here's what I found today: I saw Chat [13] and got crious. I mouse-overed on the and saw names of no one I knew at all. So I tried to go in and saw your new interface (choosing what chat program to use). Cool. None of them actually gave me a chat screen, though. I got a blank area where text might have been, for each one. I went back to the survey pages, and saw, this time, Chat [3] three- including you and my own name (I hadn't properly 'left'). But, trying to go back to it, agian I got no text (though I tried to say hi there to you, anyway- maybe it worked?). I'm running Windows 2000 (or, rahter, it's running me ) and Netscape 4.75 with Java and Javascript both on. At one point I saw an error message about Apple-something (Apple-chat?) but I didn't get a chance to copy it down. I hope all's well with you.

If you are always engaged in these deep conversations and anylizations, when do you experience life as it is, in the moment?

Whatever it is that she did- however she lied to you, you should have enough dignity to not have an outburst like that. You are, afterall, an adult, are you not? Adults have self-control, that's what seperates them from children. It usually takes a severe brain abnormality- say Tourettes Syndrom for example, to make mature adult spew like that.

I never said she was a mature or with-it 14 year old. Maybe she's 12 and not 14, or maybe it's a 21 year old boy (and (s)he's still got less than half the smarts and coolness that Mallory has at 11).
