I'm just kinda trundling on, got a car, got somewhere to live, got some job interviews coming up.... But on an emotional level, I'm still just stumped. Just treading water. Could be worse though!!

All is well, Ian and I have been relatively amicable and my daughter doesn't seem too bothered about what's going on, which is a godsend. She's just thrilled to have two bedrooms. Thanks again for all your advice. Unfortunately my return to SC was marred by some silly teenager sticking her ore in, my reaction was a little over the top but it was such bad timing! Never mind. We have a four year old daughter, three businesses, a flat, six years worth of 'stuff'..... This was so not in my plans. It feels like the bottom has just dropped out of my world. What the hell do I do now? It'sbeen 24 hours since he told me, and already I miss him so much I feel like throwing myself of a bridge.

Cain #7 posted May 2, 2009 at 8:32pm (EST)   Why do people mistake shyness for arrogance? I am the most self-loathing person I have ever met. How could I possibly be arrogant? I'm stuck doing this job I hate, because I have to be, because he needs my time and support - be that financial, and emotional, he needs me to keep my eye on this business while he's off doing other things. People come into the bar, and I have to deal with them, and the ignorant buggars think I'm arrogant becasue I'm not brimming with innane conversation, or full of bubbly personality. I'm there becasue I have to be, not because I want to be. Why can't they just be happy that I provide a quick and efficient service? Why is it that because I don't fawn over them (like he does) I'm arrogant?! I'm so sick of this crape. When do I get to do what I want to do? If it was just doing a job I disliked, I could handle it, so few people like thir jobs that it's not really my place to complain. But my personality is being slurred over the whole town. These people don't even know me. I can't believe I'm sitting here in floods of bloody tears, writing this out, for people who really have better things to be reading. Its just finally worn me down. Three years is a long time when people keep getting you wrong. Jeez. I need to go wipe my nose.
